YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme Complete Details

Eligibility : 

1. Applicant should be Self Owned Auto, Taxi, and Maxi Cab Driver. 

2. Applicant should possess a valid driving license to drive an autorickshaw / light motor vehicle.

3. Must have valid records like Autorickshaw/Taxi, and Maxi Cab Registration Certificate and Tax in case of LG Cabs.

4. The scheme is applicable to passenger autorickshaw/taxi, and maxi, cab owners. Owners of three wheeler / four wheeler light goods vehicles are not eligible under this scheme.

5. Every applicant should have Aadhaar card.

6. Owner must have a Rice Card (BPL / White Ration Card / Annapurna Card / Antyodaya Card). 

7. Family means husband, wife and minor children. Only one vehicle per family (autorickshaw/taxi, and maxi, cab) is eligible for benefit under this scheme.

8. Ownership and license are allowed to different persons in the same rice/white ration card.. However, only one person in a family consisting of husband, wife and minor children in a single rice/white card is eligible for financial assistance.

9. If the beneficiary is father/mother/daughter/brother and the driving license is in the name of the major son/daughter, the father/mother/daughter/brother who is the registered owner of the vehicle is eligible to get the benefit, even if their names are on different rice card/white ration cards.

10. Beneficiaries holding driving licenses issued by other states may apply to the respective Rt. Application for change of address should be made at the Wo office.

11. At the time of application, the vehicle must be with the owner.

12. Applications of new beneficiaries are collected by village/ward volunteers and their eligibility is verified.

13. The bank account should be in the name of the vehicle owner. Beneficiary's bank account can be any one of the scheduled commercial banks. A copy of the first page of the bank pass book should be submitted.
