Who are small traders ?
1. The low income class people who live by traditional handicrafts, eg: loom work lace works, pottery, kalamkari, Atikoppaka dolls, Kondapalli dolls, puppets, bobbilli veena, brassware making etc. produce and sell themselves.
2. They make a living by running small businesses on roadsides, open spaces in streets, on footpaths and in private spaces (snackers, tailors, cobblers).
3. Those who set up permanent or temporary shops in a space of about 5X5 feet and sell goods and merchandise.
4. People carry carts or weights on head, shoulder, baskets, gampas, and sell goods/items on the streets.
5. They travel from one area to another on bicycles, motorcycles and wheelbarrows and sell goods/goods (eg ice cream, sarees, steelware etc.).
Eligibility :
▪️18 years of age.
▪️Monthly income in rural areas is Rs. 10,000/- and in urban areas Rs. Those having less than 12,000/-.
▪️Magani land 3 acres or Metta land 10 acres or Magani and Metta land combined less than 10 acres.
▪️Holders of government issued identity cards (Aadhaar Card, Voter Card or others).
How to Apply :
🔅Eligible candidates can apply either in person at village/ward secretariats or through village/ward, bars along with business details and government identity card.
🔅Eligible applicants will be given a YSR (Your Service Request) number.
🔅Beneficiaries who have applied have completed all the prescribed procedures and eligible candidates will be given a zero interest loan of Rs. 10,000/- will be given as loan.
🔅If the beneficiaries pay monthly installments/payments to the bank with interest without arrears, the government will credit the interest to the borrowers account once in 3 months.
