Rice Card Eligibility
Eligibility :
▪️ Family Monthly Income:
▪️ Rural Areas Rs. 10,000/- in urban areas Rs. 12,000/- are eligible.
▪️ The land area of the respective family should not exceed 3 acres or 10 acres of plain land or both together not exceeding 10 acres.
▪️ The monthly electricity consumption bill of the house in which the family is currently living (owned and rented) should not exceed 300 units. (Average electricity consumption bills of last six months should be 300 units or less).
▪️ Only those who have house area less than 1000 square feet area in urban areas are eligible.
▪️ None of the family members should own a 4 wheeler vehicle (except taxi, tractor, autos).
▪️ Income tax payers and government employees or government pensioners in the family members are ineligible for rice card (except for sanitation workers working in all sectors).
Eligible and yet to receive rice card application procedure :
🔅 Eligible family can apply prescribed application along with copy of Aadhaar cards with details of their family members and family income details either directly at village/ward secretariats or through village/ward volunteers.
🔅 Eligible applicant will be given a YSR (Your Service Request) number.
🔅 Rice card will be allotted to the eligible applicant within 10 working days of application.
