Jagananna Ammavadi scheme details
Eligibility :
▪️ Family monthly income in rural areas is Rs. 10,000/- and in urban areas but below Rs.12,000/- are eligible.
▪️ Mother or guardian should have Aadhaar card and bank account number.
▪️ In case of families without rice card, they are also benefited by determining the eligibility through a 6-point test whether they belong to poor/eligible families.
▪️ The scheme is also applicable to orphan children studying in schools and intermediate colleges through voluntary organizations.
▪️ Eligible mothers or guardians are also required to verify that their children have at least 75% attendance.
▪️ No matter how many children a mother has, only the mother or guardian is identified as the beneficiary as the scheme applies to only one of them irrespective of the number of children.
